Like others I can’t connect my open bank. I’ve registered my Halifax card and deposited £1. I’ve repeatedly tried to link my Halifax bank to fully use Chip but I repeatedly get the message “we are experiencing technical difficulties”. Hopeless. So glad I only deposited £1 in this useless bank.
That is strange. Whenever I’ve needed to connect or periodically reconnect to open backing to allow a withdraw the process has worked without any issue. I suggest that you message Chip from within your app or by phone.
Try using mobile data rather than WiFi (or vice versa).
Repeatedly trying will trigger the AML security. You need to wait a full 24 hours and then try again. Set a 24hr timer
It’s fixed. Turning off WiFi and using data worked. Bit bizarre.
