URGENT! What's Going On?

I’ve been saving into my Chip account for a month now. However something has clearly gone wrong!

  1. I received an email message this morning from Chip congratulating me on saving £19.56 (when I have, in fact save MUCH more than that!)
  2. The card my Chip account is linked to has been stopped by my bank due to fraudulent transactions
  3. I can’t even log in to Chip now
  4. There’s no way of contacting anyone from Chip
  5. Chip has almost £100 of my cash and I have no way of accessing it!
  6. I am deeply concerned

I would appreciate some feedback and advice on this.

We are sorry that you have been experiencing issues this morning - there looks to be a slight issue regarding entry to the app with our iOS version.
Our developers are looking into this immediately and hope to fix this issue soon. Rest assured that your Chip account has not been cancelled and you should be able to get back into the app in a few hours time. Thank you for your patience.

Hi there!
I haven’t had as many problems as the first post but I still cannot log in the app.
Iphone 7
I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled just in case and still says the same thing

Hi Krish and Team Chip - thank you for your responses. This has calmed my nerves somewhat - I look forward to future updates as I still can’t access it.

Hey Grant, after we’re back up we’ll publish a full diagnosis and timeline. It actually took us around 15 minutes from identifying the issue to fix , then 30 mins of testing and pushed.

Right now we’re posting on the hour every hour on socials.
